BMW 3 Series M Sport Package available to order in the U.S.

Thanks to Collin from BMW of Pleansat Grove, we inform you that the highly awaited M Sport Package is available to order on the BMW 3 Series. Collin has just placed an order for a 335i with the M Sport Pack which will be delivered in March.
Unfortunately, the pricing is blocked in the dealership’s ordering system, so no information on that at this point, but with the M Sport Package price on the 1 Series set at $1,300, we should expect the 3 Series package to be around the same amount.
The M Sport Package (ZMP) cannot be combined with the Cold Weather Packager or the Sport Package. It does NOT get the heated steering wheel, headlight washers, front PDC.
If you’re wondering what the differences are between the regular Sport Package and the M Package then the following list should give you a better idea:
M door sills
M footrest
M gearshift lever
M steering wheel
M wheels
Available with an M exterior color
Anthracite Headliner
Aerodynamic package
LeMans Blue Paint available
So, if you’re in the game of getting a new 3er, you can contact your local dealer and can still place an order for the M Sport Package, even without the pricing.
As of now, the configurator is not available on the BMWUSA.COM website.

Top picks in $30000+ used luxury cars
30.01.09
Using CR's recommendations as a guideline, here is a list of some of the best used luxury cars currently on the market in the $30,000+ price range:
2007 Acura MDX
The newer MDX is classified as a crossover SUV, but it's a deluxe version. It was all-new in '07, and was built on a proper platform -- as opposed to being adapated from the Accord passenger-car platform. It also came in three flavors: Base, Technology and Sport Packages, and all three were powered by a 3.7-liter 300-hp V6.
The voice-activated navigation system is a nifty feature, as it comes with rearview camera and AcuraLink satellite communications with real-time traffic data. AOL Autos: Used Acura
2007 BMW 328i sedan
The 328i is another sleek, finely-tuned and beautifully-designed driving machine, offering sporty performance and Euro-style luxury. It is widely considered to be the definitive "sports sedan." The '07 328i was propelled by a 3.0-liter 230-hp inline six-cylinder engine, which you can find mated to either a six-speed manual or six-speed automatic transmission.

How does a BMW 3-series coupe ('00 - '06) do in snow?
Jul 17, 2006 by DK | Posted in BMW
I live in Chicago, and I'm looking at a BMW 325Ci coupe... If i put some quality snow tires on, how would it handle slick, icy roads and small amounts of snow and slush?
As long as you have snow tires, you'll do fine. I have an '05 M3, and drove through one of the blizzards we had on the east coast last year with no problem. I was concerned about it when I purchased the car as well, but as was mentioned, the 50/50 weight distribution and traction control do wonders in the snow. Obviously, have a light foot on the gas, and you'll be ok.
BTW, I purchased my winter wheel/tire package from the dealer - they were actually competitive with tire rack, and they store the set that's not on the car. I have Dunlop M3s in 17/225/45, and they worked great.

How do you fold in a BMW 3 series coupe's wing mirrors?
May 15, 2008 by Caleb999 | Posted in BMW
Heya,
We have just got a BMW 3 series with electronic wing mirrors and the manual says there is a button inside the car that folds them in automatically. We have tried many times with no luck. Is there a way to fold em manually?
Thanks alot
If its a right side drive bmw, the button should be to the right of the wheel next to the light dimmer switches etc.
Sometime depending on the BMW design, its certainly possible to close them manually. The mirrors usually fold upwards, as oppposed to folding them inwards

What is a better buy among Nissan Altima Coupe, Infiniti G37, and the BMW 3 series coupe?
Feb 05, 2008 by im ur daddy | Posted in Buying & Selling
Altima Coupe
G37
3 series Coupe
Feel free to give suggestions and also feel free to point out pros and cons
Thank you.
All three are good cars.
The Nissan Altima looks great, has good performance (3.5L engine), and is a great value for your money.
The Infiniti G37 is a better performer at 330hp, looks even better, at a higher price but still a good value -- actually the best value of the three cars.
The BMW 335i coupe is also a great looking car, is a great performer at 300hp, but is overpriced and not a good value compared to the G37. Reliability is also lower than the other two cars. Maintenance costs and insurance costs are also higher.
