First order of a BMW 335i with M-Sport Pack in the U.S.
Since I have been receiving many emails inquiring about the recent announcement of the M-Sport Package being available for the 3 Series, I decided to post some orders that were placed by U.S. dealerships.
First one, it was sent in by Collin, from BMW of Pleasant Grove, who order a Black Sapphire 335i Sedan with the M Sport Package and Premium. As I mentioned in my previous article, there is no pricing available yet for the M-Sport Package, but we do expect within the next couple of weeks to hear more.

And the second order we have seen, comes from Parker Despain, who has placed a similar order, but he will pick up his car at the Performance Center in Spartanburg.

Let me remind you some of the extra options found in the M-Sport Package:
M door sills
M footrest
M gearshift lever
M Sports leather steering wheel with paddle shifters
18″ M Light Allow Star-Spoke wheels
Sport Suspension
Sport Seats
Aluminium Trim
Anthracite Headliner
Aerodynamic package
Increased top speed limiter
LeMans Blue Paint available
Thank you Collin and Parker for sharing your orders with us.

Top picks in $30000+ used luxury cars
30.01.09
Using CR's recommendations as a guideline, here is a list of some of the best used luxury cars currently on the market in the $30,000+ price range:
2007 Acura MDX
The newer MDX is classified as a crossover SUV, but it's a deluxe version. It was all-new in '07, and was built on a proper platform -- as opposed to being adapated from the Accord passenger-car platform. It also came in three flavors: Base, Technology and Sport Packages, and all three were powered by a 3.7-liter 300-hp V6.
The voice-activated navigation system is a nifty feature, as it comes with rearview camera and AcuraLink satellite communications with real-time traffic data. AOL Autos: Used Acura
2007 BMW 328i sedan
The 328i is another sleek, finely-tuned and beautifully-designed driving machine, offering sporty performance and Euro-style luxury. It is widely considered to be the definitive "sports sedan." The '07 328i was propelled by a 3.0-liter 230-hp inline six-cylinder engine, which you can find mated to either a six-speed manual or six-speed automatic transmission.

How many miles can you expect a BMW 3 series sedan to last?

Will it go 200k?
I was planning to buy a new car long ago, but times are difficult so I gotta hold on to this puppy for a while
It can easily go over 200,000 miles, however it will simply start getting expensive to do so. There will be some major repairs involved. Want to save some money, trade it in for a Honda, Subaru, Toyota, etc.

BMW 3 series sedan?
Feb 09, 2008 by ieasha h | Posted in BMW
I plan to purchase a 4 door sedan bmw in the spring (probably a 3 series) are there any other kinds of cars that are comparable in style, comfort and price?
The 328i, or the 335i?
Competitors of 328i:
Lexus IS250
Mercedes-Benz C300
Cadillac CTS
Infiniti G35 sedan
If 335i:
Lexus IS350
Infiniti G35 sedan(again)
Acura TL
Mercedes-Benz C350
I think the BMW's real competitor is the Infiniti G35 because it's cheaper, faster, and has more horsepower and features. But the BMW is still better because of the finesse it has, and the Infiniti lacks finesse.
Hope I helped!

Should I go for used 2003 BMW 3-series sedan or New 2008 Toyota Solara Coupe ?
Jan 22, 2009 by aby_lake | Posted in Buying & Selling
I love BMW, but both the cars mentioned cost almost the same.
which is more reliable ? and which one will be more fun driving ?
Once you drive a German car, nothing else drives better but the question is:can you afford to maintain the BMW?
After selling cars for 11 years in US and 5 years in Europe and I own a BMW , I will say that Toyota will be a better choice for you.
It is newer, under the factory warranty, better resale value and way lower to maintain.
