Sources say Lexus will most likely add a baseline V6 model to its flagship Lexus LS range, in line with recessive market trends as well as expected benefits to the company’s overall CAFE ratings. This could happen when Lexus unveils the facelift for the LS, which would be due anytime soon as it was launched in the year 2007. A Lexus LS 350 could be powered by the 2GR-FSE 3.5 liter V6 engine incorporating Toyota D4-S twin injection technology, which combines port injection with direct injection. It produces 315 PS and 377Nm of torque, which puts it somewhere in line with the F01/F02 BMW 740i. The LS is currently only offered in LS 460 and LS 600h variants. Both are V8s with a 4.6 liter and 5.0 liter engine respectively, the latter also equipped with a high-output electric motor and a NiMH battery pack. In Malaysia in particular where only the LS 460 and LS 460L are sold, the LS is burdened with high road tax costs, and a LS 350 could help boost LS market share with the private buyer “entry level” owners.

How do you activate the overdrive on a Lexus LS 400?

I have a 1998 Lexus LS 400 and every time my brother drives my car, he flicks a switch, a light goes on in the dashboard and the car goes a lot faster. I want to know how he does this without asking him. Thanks.
Try looking under the gear knob for a button that says O/D Off or something like that. All he is doing is disabling the top gear of the car. It doesn't really make the car faster, it just holds a lower gear.

How much Freon should go inside of a Lexus LS 400 & how much would it cost?

I am taking my car to a local mechanic and I am not sure what to expect. I want to know a little about what I am asking him to do (add freon to my car so the air conditioner is cooler). I don't want to be taken, so I guess knowledge is power. Thanks!
He will charge your system, most shops charge like $49.99 to charge your AC, so if they are charging you $500 you know they are ripping you off..... and for information purposes a fully charged AC system holds 45PSI of R134 gas

I need to change my break pads
Only 1 lug nut is stuck on the driver side front wheel. It apears to be stripped where you fit the tire tool on.
Put all your lug nuts back on, drive to a reputable shop and ask them to remove the one lug nut that is stripped.....most shops have a stripped lug nut removal socket. Drive home with the remaining four lug nuts on the car and when you go get your brake pads buy a new lug nut too. Good luck
