One of the just four grandee sporting car makers at the show (Jaguar,
Lamborghini and Bentley were the others), Maserati was showing its new
Quattroporte GT S. This was on the 70th anniversary of its first win at the
Indianapolis 500 and there was a suitably venerable looking race car on the
stand lest we forgot. With engine and transmission mapping changes, uprated dampers, stiffer springs
and a lowered ride height, the new car looked mean and moody in black. The
UK is Maserati's third largest market at the moment and the company sold 715
cars in Britain last year. "Of course it's going to be harder this year," said one insider, "we're all
going to have to work harder, but we have suffered less than some other
companies." Britain traditionally favours sporting derivatives such as this,
and it is estimated that the S model will occupy more than 25 per cent of
all Quattroporte sales when it goes on sale this April. The company says it is examining way of reducing carbon dioxide emissions from
its cars, but has discounted the use of hybrid and diesel for the moment.
Instead (as with Ferrari) its research will be centred on weight saving, and
smaller-capacity engines with direct fuel injection and turbocharging. The
aim is to reduce CO2 emission by 25 per cent from the current average of
340g/km, but a spokesman would not give a date as to when this might occur

Is Maserati quattroporte the only 4 door Maserati? If no what are the other 4 door Maseraties. how much bhp does quattroporte have and what is it's 0-60? All quetions don't have to be answered but try to answer as much as you can please!!!

For 2009, Maserati has updated and refreshed the Quattroporte sedan. flagship sedan. Maserati's flagship sedan first arrived on the automotive scene in the early 1960s. Always designed as a powerful 4-door luxury car (Quattroporte translates to literally mean “four doors”), the largest Maserati is now in its fifth generation. The current model was first introduced at the Frankfurt Auto Show in 2003. Two different Maserati Quattroporte sedans will be sold in 2009. The standard Quattroporte is fitted with the familiar 4.2-liter 8-cylinder engine, found under the hood of last year’s model. The new high-performance Quattroporte S adopts the new 4.7-liter 8-cylinder engine shared with Maserati’s GranTurismo S.
The Maserati 2-door GranTurismo Coupe, which is derived from the Quattroporte Sedan, can seat 3 passengers and driver.
Maserati introduced its first road car, the GranTurismo 60 years ago. The latest GranTurismo debuted at the 2007 Geneva Motor Show. It is based on Maserati’s road-based flagship Quattroporte sedan. Styled by Pininfarina's Jason Castriota, with more than a few hints of the Ferrari 599 GTB in the sheetmetal, the new 4-passenger coupé is built on a shortened Quattroporte platform and is available in standard and high-performance S models, both versions offer powerful Ferrari-sourced 8-cylinder powerplants.

Can I send a Maserati Quattroporte Evoluzione to the USA and would it be street legal?

I want to get a Maserati Quattroporte Evoluzione sent from italy or britain to California. But, would it be street legal? And would century 21 auto insurance insure it?
I asked my mum (she owns an international freight forwarding company) and she says that it could be expensive but yes they would insure it =P

How badly does a Maserati Quattroporte depreciate?

I want a maserati quattroporte, i want to buy one used. (I decided to buy all my cars used no matter what they are) At the rate that the Quattroporte depreciates, when will they cost in the $40,000 range. I know certain high end cars do not keep value well, so when will it be in that range?
Unless you find one that has been wreck and has a salvage title, you are going to pay at least $50,000. The search I did covered the entire United States.
