Diecast Maybach 62
I was fortunate enough to spot a Maybach 62 once driving down the street, but it got away before I could snap a picture with my cell camera. Maybach is a fascinating company that built cars prior to World War I, then ceased production of automobiles for over 50 years, resuming production in 2002.

The Maybach 57 and 62 are an almost identical car, except for the length. The Maybach 62 is the longer of the two and more than likely will be driven by a chaffeur. A variation of the 62 is called the Maybach 62 Laudaulet, which allows the back half of the cars roof to open, exposing the passengers to the sky.
Based on a Mercedes platform, these beautiful cars are positioned to compete directly with the Rolls-Royce Phantom. Complete with separate climate zones, a navigation system, reclining back seats, an option for a privacy screen between driver and passenger and many more luxury appointments. With a huge V12 engine, power is certainly not lacking. Unfortunately if most of us ever wanted to own one of these beautiful cars, we would need to sell our homes and most other possessions and still wouldn't likely have enough - About $400,000 will put a Maybach 62 in your driveway. Time to think about a Diecast Maybach and dream of a real one!

On the Prowl -Bisankoni’s painful lessons from American elections - Malawi's Daily Times
23.01.09
There are some events that Professor Bisankoni found difficult to simply ignore and one of such highlights happened on Tuesday this week when Barack Hussein Obama was inaugurated president of the most powerful nation in the world—the United States of America.
The story of Obama being the first African American to occupy the Oval Office has been profusely documented and it looks stale even as early as today because those individuals who can claim not to have heard it must have been living on planet Mars all along.
What puzzled Bisankoni as he watched the historic inauguration of dear old Barack at the Sportmans’ Bar while guzzling away happily was the presence of four former occupants of the White House at the end of the event. George H.W Bush, Jimmy Carter, William Clinton and George W Bush all who had been President before and constitutionally left office without grumbling.
These gentlemen never looked like individuals who would want to bounce back to finish

How much does a Mercedes Maybach 62 cost in Euros?
Aug 14, 2007 by Michael E | Posted in Mercedes-Benz
There is a possibility of me moving to Switzerland. In Switzerland, there is the Mercedes Maybach Centre. I looked on C-Net and I came across the Maybach. So I searched it on the Mercedes Maybach website. I liked the Maybach 62 more than the Maybach 57 and I wanted to know how much in Euro's the Merecedes Maybach 62 costs. Thanks so much!
If you can, please list your source!
Thank You!
The official price accordingly to Auto Motor und Sport (Germany s no. 1 car magazine) and l´Automobile (France s no. 1 one) is at 417.500 € but well, it varies due to different tax rates (e.g Swiss VAT= 7%, German VAT=19%).
Btw, the Maybach Manufaktur- that s where you re invited if you re interested in one- is close to Stuttgart (Germany), but you re right there s a Maybach Centre in Schlieren.

What is the difference between a Maybach 57 and a Maybach 62, besides the price of course.?

57 refers to 5.7 metres in length. 62 refers to 6.2 metres in length. Change that to meters if you're from the US! One metre is 39.37 inches so do the math. I think the 62 has more features like aircraft style reclinig seats in the back but I'm not sure.
