And perhaps the feature that has helped the TL attain this lofty mantle is that it doesn’t feel like a front-wheel drive car. Sure, it doesn’t have the tail-wagging capabilities that have for a long time been a hallmark of sport sedans, but in this day and age of traction-enhancing devices, not many sports cars do.

What you get from the TL is predictable handling manners and a steady ride. Doors close with a quality-designating “thunk”, the interior stays relatively serene during everyday drives, and the exhaust produces a throaty growl under power. If you were to close your eyes and just experience what it does, it could very well belong in a Cadillac, BMW, Infiniti or Mercedes stable.

For 2009, there are two variations on the TL theme – a front wheel drive version powered by a 280-hp 3.5 V6 and an all-wheel drive powered by a 305-hp 3.7 V6. Our tester was the entry level version (both can be tarted up with a $3,500 Nav package that adds navigation and voice-activated controls for everything).

I enjoy blowing A4s away(with ease). they are nice cars, very soft inside, but have almost nothing under the hood. is the A4 worth the price? I dont think so....

Performance parts for a 2007 saab 9-3 sports sedan???
hello, i was considering tunning my car a bit and i was thinking of puting a blow off valveGreddy style), a performance chip ( stage 3 surge o2 chip combo) and does it make a difference if i put in a air intake if so what kind, and if you have any other suggestions as to what would be a good idea let me know, MY MAIN CONSERN was the warrenty i just got the car like 2months ago new and i dont want somthing to get fucked up and then find out the warenty wont pay for it because i "tampered with the engine" well anyways thank you

Who thinks Saab 9-3 Sports sedan is worth buying?

I say this is a fairly descent car without asking for too much? but more I welcome more suggestions or comments.

The 9-3 is not a rebadged Subaru, that car is the 9-2X.

I would look at another vehicle, the Saabs have a lot of drawbacks besides goofy ergonomics and unique styling.

poor reliability
poor resale
older design
smallish rear seat
rides hard
turbo 4 vs 6 cylinders motors in price range
fares poorly in all comparison tests

They do handle well, and look nice. And once the turbo's kick in, they are fast enough. That being said, there are too many negatives. You can do better than fairly decent in this cars price range.
