Sure, it's another mid-size sedan, the most common entrÈe on the autodom menu. But it's a sedan with some edge in its angled-down profile, and some attitude in the sunglass-like stare of its tinted "projector ellipsoid" headlamps. "Refreshed" styling for 2009, including a clean new one-piece grill, has added to its distinction. And another departure -- a full 10 years or 160,000 kilometres of warranty coverage on engine and transmission, five years/100,000 km on other parts, and five years of roadside assistance with unlimited mileage. Fully transferable, too. No need to be a rebel without a clause. That warranty, and the lure, to some, of driving a vehicle that won't get lost in every parking lot are two big things Mitsubishi has going with the Galant and its lineup mates. A huge name globally, Mitsubishi continues to have a small presence in the Canadian market it entered in 2002, although sales are rising and dealers are putting up the type of glass-and-tile edifices that indicate faith in the brand's long-term prospects.

Hi all.. I have a 2000 Mitsubishi Galant that's showing the yellow engine light on the dash.. It also seems to have a "flat spot" sometimes when i accelerate... Other than that it's fine.. Car was serviced at the start of the year and i've changed the spark plugs. I also put some fuel line cleaner in the tank thinking it would clean the fuel lines as i thought that would stop the flat spot, but it just seems to be getting worse.. Help!!!
Your car may or may not be EOBD compliant.
You can try disconnecting the battery for 30 seconds.
This will clear the code if non OEBD.
Otherwise you will need to get the code read.
If this puts the light out then you need to take it for a drive to see if the light comes back on.
Sometimes a code can be picked up due to a bad connection or just damp but I suspect you have a problem.

Where can I find detailed instructions on how to replace the rear bumper of a mitsubishi galant 1999? Or does a body tech have to do it? If so, how much will it cost me for labor and part?
just climb under it and take out the bolts that hold it on then adjust the new one to fit

What is the best turbo charger for Mitsubishi Galant?

I have a 2003 Mitsubishi Galant with a 2.4 litre, 4 cylinder engine. I want to turbo charge it, and I am wondering if anyone out there has done that to a Galant before. I am looking for a website where I could find a cheap turbo kit, but at the same time one that fits my car. I went to a Mitsubishi dealership and they said they will install one, and that it will be cheaper if the turbo kit can fit in easily. So if you know of a reliable website that has turbo kits that fit a 2003 Mitsubishi Galant, please post your answer.
You could try http://www.dsmtalk.com you might be able to find something there. I hope you know what you are getting into, as it will take a lot to turbocharge your Galant: Reprogram the ECU, reroute exhaust system, bigger fuel injectors, etc. You will also not be able to run much boost, since non-turbo cars run a higher compression ratio. The only way you would be able to run high boost would be to completely rebuild your engine with stronger connecting rods, stronger pistons, balancing the rotating assembly, etc. You might could contact http://www.buschurracing.com to see if they might make a kit, or could offer you any more help than I can.
