Nissan Rogue SL A City Ride That's Rogue In Name Only - Hartford Courant
17.01.09
I was so impressed with the way the 2009 Rogue SL transitioned between town and country that I was determined to give it another name because there's nothing the least bit roguish about it.
I hereby suggest that this clever little urban runner, available with front-wheel or all-wheel-drive in either base "S" or upscale "SL" trim, be renamed the Nissan City. Failing that, something like the Nissan New York or Nissan Chicago would do.
Those proposed names speak more accurately to the beauty of the Rogue's function and utility in urban canyons, as well as to its obvious limitations on the open highway. Let me get to its shortcomings first.
On the highway, the Rogue is far less rogue than it is altar boy. Keep this mild-mannered wagon with the rascally name and the raspy 170-horsepower, four-cylinder engine out of the left lane. The highway's real rogues — and there are many, especially in this region of impatient speed demons — will

Nissan Rogue?
Apr 21, 2008 by Ravi L | Posted in Nissan
Has anyone had any experience owning the 2008/2009 Nissan Rogue?
Well, I am thinking about buying one this year. Choice is between a Rogue and the Murano. I have heard that the cargo room for the Rogue is kind of small and you feel every bump in the road. For the Murano, I have heard that you have to use Premium gas. Is that true??
I have read ever single review I could possibly find, and nothing bad so far. I am actually considering buying one this summer. I am excited. I'm going to, of course, test drive one before I make an actual decision.

How is Nissan Rogue 2009 S and SL Model?
Dec 13, 2008 by Curious George | Posted in Nissan
I am planning to buy a CUV and based on my driving experience am feeling inclined towards Nissan Rogue 2009,
Would appreciate expert opinions on Nissan Rogue.
I am looking for 1> Safety 2> Reliability 3> Ride quality 4> Service and maintenance costs 5> build quality 6> Resale Value
Would appreciate answers that can help making a decision.
With out doubt the Rogue has been one of the best new car launch Nissan has ever made. Look to the Insurance institude for trafffic safety or IIHS for crash data. Available with 4 wheel drive and they get 29 miles a gallon. Only 1 year of data so far but they all need 2 or three oil changes a year and a tire rotate. Get the chrome sticker grill opening covers it gives the Rogue a more finished front end.

anyone have any specs on the 2008 nissan rogue? They start selling them in September but I can't find any "real" info.
I've searched everywhere and found nothing. At this point, all I can say is that information probably hasn't been released yet.
