Great news for racing wannabes’, Lamborghini will be starting its race series featuring its very own Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4. Not just any Lamborghini, this is a lightweight 570HP 4 wheel drive car, with a 6 speed robotized gearbox, racing ABS, steel racing brakes, racing tires by Pirelli 18” all wrapped around lightweight competition wheels and an aerodynamic performance kit. However the launch control system will be disabled for the series.

Dubbed as the Super Trofeo Series, it will consist of six 3-day weekends, with two 40-minute races on the final day. Contestants consist of professional and ‘gentlemen’ drivers including a celebrity guest, though you would have to have either an International competition license A, B or C. Getting a license isn’t very hard to achieve and is worth looking into if you’ve got the cash to spare.
