Why is the Lamborghini Murcielago considered illegal in most US states excepting FL,TX and CA?
Mar 01, 2008 by Fan_Of_MsInd84 | Posted in Other - Cars & Transportation
A friend of mine today told me that the Lamborghini Murcielago is considered illegal in most US States. Is that true ? And why? What are law-makers affraid of? The Murcielago is a 210 plus MPH car, so was the Lamborghini Countach Quattrovolve Twin Turbo of the 80's. That car was never considered illegal.
where the [profane] did you hear that?
I'm surprised, because California would usually be the only place where it's NOT legal--they're known for their draconian laws, especially in regards to car laws!!
that CAN'T be true
it would be illegal only in Cali, Vermont, NY and Massachusetts because of emissions
Safety standards are up to the Feds, so it's either legal or illegal in that regard.

What is the purpose of the side vents on the lamborghini murcielago? ?
Jan 18, 2009 by yodicken | Posted in Other - Cars & Transportation
Once, I had the pleasure of driving in a lamborghini murcielago, and I noticed a button that opened and closed vents on either side of the car, near the engine. If this car is fuel injected, and not naturally aspirated, what is the purpose of these vents?
Thanks
at higher speeds , cars tend to overheat these fins are meant to cool the engine
