JAGUAR Ireland has announced unprecedented price reductions on both the XTYPE and XF model ranges in response what it says are exceptionally challenging economic conditions and a very competitive marketplace. Customers can avail of retail price reductions of up to 14.5% on new vehicles registered between now and 31st March 2009. Retail prices across the entire X-TYPE range have been reduced in excess of € 5,000. The X-TYPE 2.0 D Limited Edition sees its retail price come down from € 34,440 to € 29,400. The Limited Edition which offers an outstanding level of standard equipment, including 17" alloy wheels, half leather sports seats, climate control, Bluetooth® technology and dynamic stability control (DSC), was further enhanced in 2008 with refreshed interior and exterior styling. How to install Daytime Running Lights on Jaguar 2002 x-type?

Hey Jaguar fans, I've just imported a 2002 Jaguar x-type and the dealer wants an inflated amount to install/activate the daytime running lights. Can i do this my self, will the generic kit available from Napa work?

Thats easy.
You just need a relay and some wire, and terminals of course. With basic wiring knowledge. shouldn't be more than 30$ really.

Looking for some sort of weekly maintenance checklist for a Jaguar X-type?

I have a Jaguar X-type and I want to ensure that it is upkept on a weekly basis by putting together a weekly and monthly checklist of things that I should check myself. I was looking for a Haynes manual wherein there is normally such a checklist but apparently this hasn't been published yet. Does anyone else have any ideas where i could get this from?

That's pretty often......fluids, and tire pressure.

I have tried "looking" for the cars bluetooth with my Nokia, but it cant find any devices.If I press the phone button on the Jag, it says no phone. It is a 53 plate X type 2.0 diesel It mentions nothing of this is the cars manual or the audio manual. Please help, I would love to use this feature.
The blue tooth on your Jag does not exist. During manufacture ALL buttons and switches are installed . Not all of them are connected. You can have it installed for a mere £400 give or take a few quid. I must admit I was disappointed when I found this out as well. Go buy yourself one at your local store, not the same but a cheaper option. Enjoy your Jag and a merry Christmas
